ChurchFinance charges zero platform fees. You only pay Stripe's standard processing fees (2.9% + $0.30 for cards, 0.8% for ACH bank transfers capped at $5). Many churches choose to let donors cover the processing fee, making it essentially free.
How quickly do donations appear in my account?
Donations typically arrive in your bank account within 2-3 business days. You'll see the donation in ChurchFinance immediately, and it will be automatically categorized and recorded in your financial reports.
Can donors set up recurring donations?
Yes! Donors can set up automatic weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly recurring donations. They can manage their recurring gifts anytime through a donor portal, and you'll have full visibility into upcoming scheduled donations.
Is online giving secure?
Absolutely. All payments are processed through Stripe, a PCI Level 1 certified payment processor (the highest level of security). Card numbers are never stored on our servers, and all data is encrypted with 256-bit SSL.
